Restaurant style paneer tikka

paneer tikka is an Indian dish made from chunks of paneer marinated in spices and grilled in a tandoor. It is a vegetarian alternative to chicken tikka and other meat dishes. It is a popular dish that is widely available in India and countries with an Indian diaspora.

Ingredients:

1/4cup curd
2tsp red chilly powder
1/2turmeric
1/2jeera powder
1tspGinger garlic paste 
1/2tspChaat masala
Black pepper powder
Lemon juice
1/2 tsp garam masala
1tsp Kasturi methi
1/2tsp coriander powder
16ps of paneer cube
16 ps of capsicum
16ps of onion shells
Oil
Salt 
butter

Method:

1.To make this recipe we need a hung curd hung curd holds the masala very well if we used runny yoghurt it will let out masala while grilling.
2.For marinade we need curd, ginger garlic paste, red chilly powder, turmeric, salt, coriander powder, gram masala, chaat masala.
3.Next we add crushed Kasturi methi, black pepper powder.
4.Now we have to add roasted began for that add began roast well and then add oil until the fragrant and then cool it. later mix with marinade.it also brings out a good flavour and will avoid messing up the Tawa.
5.Add oil in the marinade.
6.Add capsicum and onions. coat them well with marinade.
7.Do the same with the paneer. Gently coat them as well.
8.Cover and rest them in the fridge for an hour.do not leave them for long.
9.Arrange the capsicum and paneer on skewers.
10.If you're making on griddle or tawa, heat a tawa with oil when it turns hot place the skewers in the centre and grill them on medium flame on both sides.
11.Remove paneer tikka to a serving plate, brush them with butter, squeeze lemon juice and sprinkle some chaat masala if you like.
12.Serve paneer tikka hot with onion, lemon wedges and mint chutney.
13.You can also make this in the oven preheat over for 450 for 230 c or at least for 15 to 30 mins if you're using an OTG Choose grill option.
14.For restaurant flavour, place a small steel bowl in the serving plate .burn a wood charcoal piece on direct fore until red hot. keep it in the bowl. pour 1/2tsp ghee over it.it should begin to smoke immediately .cover with a foil and let it smoke for 5to 6 mins.
