Healthy makhana recipe

Makhana is a very healthy snack to have. This is a very easy recipe to make. makhana is a good source of protein, carbohydrates, fibre, magnesium, potassium phosphorus, iron and zinc. Makhana is also low in calories.

 Ingredients:

2tbsp butter
1tbsp mustard seed
10 to 20 curry leaves
2 to 3 green chillies
1/4cup roasted peanuts
1/4cup roasted split Bengal gram
1/2 tsp turmeric
250-gram Makhana
Salt as per taste
Black pepper

Method:

1.Heat up oil in a pan
2.Add mustard seeds let them pop.
3.Add curry leaves, green chillies, peanuts and roasted split began gram. cook it for about a minute.
4.Add turmeric powder and cook it for a minute.
5.Add makhana and mix it well.
6.Saute the makhana on medium flame heat for about 6-7 minutes until makhana gets nice crispy and crunchy.
7.Add salt and black pepper.
