How to make chicken biryani

Biryani is a mixed rice dish with its origins among the Muslims of the Indian subcontinent. It is made with Indian spices, rice, and meat, or vegetables and sometimes, in addition, eggs and potatoes in certain regional varieties.

Ingredients:

Chicken 500 gm
Basmati rice500gm
Tomatoes 3
Fried onions 3
Yoghurt250gm
Biryani masala 2tbsp
Turmeric powder 1/2tsp
Coriander powder 1tsp
Garam masala 1/2tsp
Red chilly powder
Ginger garlic paste 
Green chilli 4
Star anise 1
Cinnamon stick 1 inch
Bay leaves
Black pepper 5
Black cardamom 1
Green cardamom 2
Cloves 5
Mace 1
Oil for cooking
 food colour orange
Mint leaves
Pure ghee 2 tbsp
Salt to taste 

Method:

1.first cook the rice.rice should be cook 80%.
2.For marination of chicken add ginger -garlic paste, tomato, curd, dry masala(garam masala, red chilly powder, turmeric, biryani masala)green chilling, salt, fried onions, pudina leaves, coriander leaves.
3.Keep the imagination for 1 to 2 hr.
4.Heat an oil in a pan adds ghee. add khade masala(mace, cloves, green cardamom, black cardamom, black pepper, bay leaves, star anise, cinnamon)
5.Add marinated chicken .mix it well. Cook the chicken on low flame for 15 minutes.
6.Stir it chicken gravy in between.
7.Assemble chicken in A big pan or degchi
Add little bit rice first then add chicken add fried onions pudina leaves ,coriander leaves , food colour now add a layer of rice.sprinkle some fried onions ghee coriander leaves pudina leaves.cover it.
8.Keep it for 5 min on high flame and 10min on low flame.place tawa under the degchi.
