Bhendi masala


INGREDIENTS:

  • Lady fingers1.5 kg
  • oil 100ml
  • jeera 5gm
  • onions 1 kg
  • ginger - garlic masala
  • tomatoes 1 kg
  • green chilli 4-5nos.
  • red chilli powder 5 gm
  • garam masala 2gm
  • salt as per taste
  • turmeric 3gm
  • chopped coriander 10gm
  • water as required

METHOD:

  1. Clean and wash and wipe dry and cut ladyfinger in rounds.
  2. Heat oil in a pan. add lady's fingers and saute for 5 to7 minutes on medium flame. in the end, it should perfectly be cooked.
  3. Transfer bhindi to a plate and set aside.
  4. Add oil to the pan then add cumin when they began to splutter add onion and green chilli. saute them until they turn golden brown.
  5. Add ginger-garlic paste and saute for 2-3 min, till raw smell goes.
  6. Add tomatoes and salt .saute until the tomato turns soft and mushy.
  7. Add red chilly powder, turmeric, and garam masala.
  8. Mix everything well and saute until the mixture leaves aside of the pan.
  9. Add water and mix well and cook for 1-2 min
  10. Add fried bhendi and mix well. cover and cook on low medium.
  11. Open the lid and evaporate any excess moisture .serve with hot.
